We are glad to bring out the release of this e news magazine bringing you the latest news on the developments of BOT projects in India.

As you are all already aware that the future of road construction in India is going the BOT way . Not only the NHAI , but even the state governments such as the Government of Punjab through PIDB and Madhya Pradesh Government through MPSRD has come out with no. of BOT projects .

Apart from Road Projects even Check Post Management has gone the BOT way with state governments such as the NEW DELHI already having implemented and KERELA and RAJASTHAN in the planning stage to go for BOT projects for CHECK POST MANAGEMENT.

With this magazine we hope to bring together companies and professionals in BOT road projects to share news ,views ,problems and solutions through a platform which will bring together best of the industry through a forum for sharing thier knowledge .

Also we hope to use this a medium for recruitment of High skill professionals having experience in managing different aspects of BOT projects by the leading BOT concession companies.

Last but not the least we want to constantly educate the concessionaires about the latest in Tolling and Traffic Management Technologies offered by Metro Road Systems and its global partners –Kapsch Trafficom , Austria and ECM of France .

We found that while information on this topic some what existed on the internet, it was scattered across multiple resources and websites. We aimed to solve this problem by providing a single curated source specific to the tolling industry.

I would like to share with you that we are now the India’s leading website on the toll systems industry. We are visited by lakhs of industry professional every year and many visit us daily to get their update on the industry. This informative initiative of creating a source of industry news that has become a part of the regular reading of many industry professionals has proven to be a very fulling journey for me and one that I am  personally very proud of.

As the CTO of IndianTollways, I would further like to share that we run on a robust technology backend. We  are using PHP, MySQL, Apache and Linux, with customized version of WorldPress, which is the world’s most popular publishing platform. We have optimized this underlying technology to offer an easy to use website that loads fast and can scale with the growing industry.

I am privileged to be the part of Indian Tollways , and am looking forward to bring together more and more news , views , articles and interviews from experts on ITS , Toll Plazas Operations , concessionaires and government from time to time.

Intelligent Transportation System  is an emerging  field not only in India but across the country side , and India has got a huge potential in overcoming in the area of ITS. The Metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore are equipped with new road  and Traffic management  technologies while rest are eager to adopt it, and Indian Tollways pioneers in that case .

But there are many challenges being faced like increasing rate of accident , traffic Jam at the peak hour  ,and the stuck up of fire bridge ,ambulances in  the traffic ,for overcoming all these challenges  long tread of efforts is required which can only heads to victory.Therefore Enterprises and the manpower are putting their best efforts in ease to provide the solution for the challenges faced by the ITS and in upgrading the technologies currently being use .Hope they succeed in the way .
