Remembering Amit

Dear All,

With a lot sorrow I share with you all that Amit Singh, VP of Metro Infrasys, had an unfortunate end of his life on 12th October, 2011.

He worked with us from October 2003 as the first Engineer of our company, and also his first job , and was deeply involved with us in every step of our life and company . He was responsible for our company’s culture and growth through his deep sense of ownership and responsibility . He was part of our life through his smiling disposition , great sense of humour and lightheartedness. He was mentor and guide to so many of our Engineers and Managers . His spirit for spreading happiness with one and all , was unmatched by anyone we ever met .His endless energy and enthusiasm was the inner strength in our most difficult times.

His spirit will continue to inspire us to spread happiness to one and all ,and strengthen his culture of energy, ownership and responsibility. We feel the deep loss of a Great Leader and Great Friend .

We have a meet for “Remembering Amit Singh” in our factory in Manesar on 17 th October at 4 pm in Plot no 190 Sector 6 , Manesar.

I met Amit very recently together with Sachin at the Intertraffic exhibition. When I heard the tragic news I could not believe it as I had seen him hale and hearty just a few days ago.
Amit was dynamic and hard working, he had a way with people and I have heard stories of how he would inpire confidence in people and turn the table in favor of his company Metro Infrasys.
His sad and untimely demise is a big loss to Sachin, his collegaues at Metro Infrasys and the larger Road projects community.
I join you all to pray that Amit’s soul rest in peace and God give strength to his family and all nears and dears to bear this loss.

Amit was at once a loveable, jovial yet professionally thorough person who was ever smiling. I had a long association with Amit since 2005, though intermittently. He was never devoid of bright ideas, yet a very humble soul. It will be extremely tough for me to accept the hard fact that he is no more. May God give his family the mental strength to put up with this unfathomable loss. I would pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace.

    Dear All,
I learned of the unfortunate and untimely death of Amit Singh. There are no words to describe the utter grief that I am feeling right now, and I cannot possibly imagine the shock and sorrow that has been thrust on his family as well.
I think you share my sentiment that it feels a little unfair that such a smart and talented young man’s life has ended with so much living left to do. It is my firm belief that bad things that happen to good people serve a greater good, and Amit’ s death will, I believe, teach us all something if we only let ourselves be taught.
    Yours in mutual grief,

Amit Sir was a great personality personally and professionally both. I met him in 2007-08. we worked together in project. At that time i was new in this industry and Amit Sir was very much senior to me. but we never felt like we are dealing with a senior person. He was so much friendly and a jolly nature person.

We have just lost its soul, a stricken silence falls over the sudden emptiness that no one will ever fill again. And all the noises that may be made later in the house will be like a scandalous din, ugly echoes from one room to another, from one corridor to another, sharp and discordant as if the walls are no longer able to absorb any music once the source of harmony has been taken away.
I’m are torn, and broken No matter how I appear to others
How high I hold my head up Or how my words are spoken
I will never be the person That I use to be
And no matter how I appear to others Head up, strong spoken
They have no idea who I am “I am me”
Not who I appear to be
The pain will go away, with time It won’t be so bad, after awhile
So say the People say …
But they have never lost a Friend….

I think of you often and make no outward show,
But what it means to lose you,no one will ever know
You wished no one farewell, not even said good-bye,
You were gone before I knew it,and only God knows why.
You are not forgotten nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memories last, will remember thee.

To some you may be forgotten,
to others a part of the past,
But to me who loved you dearly,
    your memories will always last.
    Nothing can be more beautiful
than the memories I have of you.

To me, you were someone special,
God must have thought so too!
If tears could build a staircase

Hi SAchin and the MRS Team

I am not sure if I am in time to say a few words to you all from South Africa

I was very sorry to hear the tragic news about our dear friend Amit.

I have known Amit since he first came around to meet me at DSC, he was always a very happy person who always had a smile on his face.

I would like to take this opportunity to offer a few words if possible

Focusing only on happy thoughts, it is usually easy for most of us to write an anniversary or birthday greeting.

But writing a condolence note is something very different because, quite often, we don’t know what to say, this is true and I must admit I felt that way at my father funeral service earlier in the year. I stood up and looked out at all those that came tot he funeral and could hardly put two words together but to say “thank you for remembering my dad”

Often when we feel awkward and uncomfortable, we may even put the task off until the time to write has seemingly passed.
Because of our own discomfort, the bereaved can be left feeling hurt and angry, their loss unappreciated. Friendships can suffer as well.

In today’s commercial world, it’s easy to find sympathy cards of every description but difficult to find something appropriate if you don’t know what “appropriate” is

Thinking about the nature of our relationship I can only say that he was a good person who tried his best at the office and the best for the MRS team he will be missed.

Warmest Regards to all at the MRS Team

My heartfelt condolences to the family, friends & the fraternity. May God give his soul eternal peace.
